EYFS Framework

At Jingle Jungle nursery we plan and provide learning experiences for the children using the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our staff have experience using the EYFS and understand how to best plan learning experiences for the child using this framework.

The Early Years Foundation Stage has 7 areas, these areas are split into prime and specific learning areas.

Prime areas:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional development

  • Communication, Language

  • Physical Development

Specific areas:

  • Literacy

  • Mathematics

  • Understanding of the world

  • Expressive arts and design

To record observations and assessments we use Tapestry.

All parents who have children attending Jingle Jungle nursery will have online  access to this learning platform, you will be able to participate in your child's learning by viewing observation, assessment, reports and also uploading your own observations showing us what amazing home learning you have done with your child.
